How we test — and why we trust it
Every claim is sourced, never invented
We don't buy and test products ourselves. Instead, every claim in a video is pulled from independent reviewers' own testing, verified against their original transcript before use (claims that overstate or misrepresent their source are dropped automatically), and credited with a timestamped link so you can watch the original.
The tier ladder is evidence, not a template
Every product on a tier ladder is a real, named product that independent reviewers actually tested — never an invented model or an approximated spelling. If the evidence only supports two tiers, we ship two. A product name that can't be verified against a single source's own title and claims is dropped rather than guessed at.
We don't publish star ratings we didn't earn
You won't see a 4.7/5 score on this site. We rank products into tiers based on what independent testing showed — but we don't invent a numeric rating to decorate a search result, because we didn't run the tests that would justify one.
Honest "not yet" is a valid verdict
Every video names who should not buy anything yet. A channel that never says wait isn't one worth trusting when it says buy.
Prices are bands, not promises
We cite price bands drawn from what reviewers stated at the time of testing (e.g. "under $50"), never a specific invented figure — and never a number we can't attribute to the source. Check the live listing before you buy; prices move.
